Hospital Ship Relief-Tinian 30 April 1945

I recently have had contact with children of a veteran who was stationed on Tinian in 1945. He has many photos, some are of the Hospital ship Relief docking at Tinian on 30 April 1945. He has photos of wounded being unloaded. I know that the 1st Marine Division and Army units also participated on Okinawa.
Does anyone know if 6th Division marines were transported to the Tinian Hospital on that date?

PS I used to communicate with Bill Pierce frequently but have had no communication with him recently. Can someone give me a status update on him. Thanks
